Abstract
This research aims to explore the application of NLP technology, specifically GT, in the context of multilingual tourism. By examining existing research, case studies, and practical applications, this review will provide a comprehensive understanding of how NLP can enhance communication effectiveness in the tourism industry. This review will contribute to the broader discourse on the integration of advanced technologies in tourism, offering insights into the practical implications and future directions for NLP applications. This study highlights the importance of accessibility for non-English speakers, bridging language gaps, and encouraging early English exposure. However, challenges such as accuracy issues and the limitations of translating complex or context-specific phrases remain significant hurdles. These limitations can affect the reliability of machine-generated translations, especially for languages with less widespread usage or intricate linguistic structures. The conclusion of these studies confirms that GT is a very effective tool in overcoming language barriers and improving communication in various contexts, especially in tourism.
